This infographic was developed to visualize GlobalFoundries’ role in reshaping the automotive semiconductor supply chain. As chip shortages disrupted global markets, GF needed a clear, compelling way to explain how its U.S.-based manufacturing model offers stability, proximity, and long-term resilience for automakers.
I designed a side-by-side comparison of the old vs. new models — illustrating the shift from a multi-region, multi-vendor supply chain to a streamlined, secure, and domestically anchored structure. The design balances technical clarity with strategic messaging, using iconography, flow-based layout, and bold callouts to guide the viewer.
Project goals:
- Explain a complex shift in semiconductor sourcing at a glance
- Support GF’s messaging to policymakers, media, and industry partners
- Visually reinforce the company’s position as a reliable, secure supplier for next-gen automotive technologies
This piece has been used in briefings, slide decks, and digital campaigns to underscore GF’s leadership in modernizing the automotive chip landscape.
